1933 Martin OM-18 Vintage Guitar Rare Original

1933-om-18_Martin_original

Jake Workman, virtuoso lead guitarist of Ricky Skaggs Band Kentucky Thunder, shredding my original 1933 Martin OM-18 guitar, ser #54742, before his Birchmere performance in Alexandria, Virginia on January 6, 2024, recorded in hotel room with iphone.

Renown Nashville luthier, Hugh Hansen, put the guitar in perfect playing condition for me in 2023, which included refretting with original style bar frets. I was joking with Jake about the 3.4 lbs weight of the guitar, which is unusually light and resonant.

Is the top on the guitar red spruce or red cedar? I’m going to try and make a reproduction. Thanks
